Assignments for Thursday 10/9
Hope you enjoyed our first session, here's what I'd like you to do before our next meeting:
- Look at this old meet - http://www.imlem.org/meetdoc/2006Meet1c.pdf
Take the time to tackle the problems on your own - make sure you understand the questions, and have an idea of what is required to get at the solution, even if you're not sure you can take all the steps on your own yet.
Try not to look at the solutions before you give yourself enough time for each problem.
We'll go over these at our next session (and new problems as time permits).
Where do you have difficulties? - Pick your favorite categories - Each student can participate in 3 categories at a meet. Which ones do you like?
- We could use a few more students, especially 7th and 8th graders - recruit!
